Please note that learners may NOT be called out of class during an academic lesson for any reason whatsoever. All appointments (medical or personal) must be made at the end of the academic day 14:10.
Furthermore, as a safety precaution; should permission be granted for a learner to be fetched during school hours (emergencies only) only a mother, father or legal guardian may sign for the learner to leave the school’s premises. No one else will be given permission to fetch a learner during school hours. No exceptions will be made.

The re-registration process of present 2014 learners (Grade 8 to 11) has been ongoing since the
01 August 2014. Please take note that the closing date is Friday, 29 August 2014.
Parents/Guardians are to ensure that an amount of R300-00 (THREE HUNDRED RAND) re-registration fee has been paid to guarantee your child’s re-enrolment 2015.
Re-registration forms have been issued by the register teachers and these forms must accompany the amount of R300-00 and be returned to Grenville High School (Finance Office) on/or before Friday, 29 August 2014.

Thank you to all parents/guardians who have made sure that their school and hostel fee payments are up to date. Without you honouring your financial commitment, Grenville High School would not be in a position to maintain its present standard.

A reminder to parents/guardians, who are not up to date with payments due to financial problems, to contact Ms van der Merwe at the school’s finance department (Tel No 014 592 0344/5) immediately to avoid any unpleasantness i.e. legal costs etc., if you are experiencing problems regarding the payment of fees.

NO TO DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE (added on 27 June 2014)
On Tuesday, 24 June 2014, a group of Grenville High School learners participated in a campaign against drug and alcohol usage amongst learners.

The programme was a successful one and our learners learnt a lot.

An essay competition was run, as part of the campaign and Kimberly Lentswe in Grade 11 obtained a 2nd place. She won herself a brand new IPad mini. Well done Kim, we are very proud of you!
